After hearing about the cluelessness problem once again, my friend reminded me of how the scientists in The Three-Body Problem came to believe that “physics doesn’t exist” (just before going out the window) and joked that maybe some aliens are trying to make our fellow EAs believe that planning doesn’t exist :)
P. S. I myself agree with the arguments for cluelessness, at least to some extent.
